Publishing the SoP I Submitted to MIT AeroAstro for Graduate Study Abroad!!
Translated from the Japanese original published November 17, 2021.
I am publishing the essay (Statement of Purpose, SoP) required for applying to graduate schools abroad! This SoP was also used this year in the SoP writing support program of XPLANE (a Japanese nonprofit that supports students applying to graduate school abroad), so I think it brings together the basic information you need to write an SoP. Writing an SoP takes time, but once you have a reasonable draft, show it to as many people as you can and have them help you polish it! In my case, too, Daiju (head of XPLANE / HondaJet) edited my SoP and coached me, and really, truly helped me so much. Good luck to all of you, too!
